Culture Meets Climate: 12 Unmissable Events During LCAW 2025

London Climate Action Week isn’t just about policy, finance, and community. It’s also about storytellingartfilm, and creativity — powerful tools that help us feel the urgency of climate change and imagine better futures.

Whether you’re into documentaries, design, theatre, or youth-led films, this year’s cultural line-up is one of the strongest yet.

Here are The Green Londoner’s top 12 culture picks for LCAW 2025:

1. ARTIFICIAL – Exploring Climate Through Design Research

We had the chance to preview this yesterday — and we loved it. Opening to the public today at the Design Museum, this free exhibition explores how design research can tackle the climate emergency by challenging the boundaries between what’s considered natural and what’s artificial. The display features thought-provoking work from the museum’s flagship Design Researchers in Residence programme, part of its in-house design research initiative, Future Observatory.
